About Jenny...
My name is Jenny Claggett. I grew up in a strong Christian home on a farm in Southwest Iowa and was instilled – thankfully! – with that great Midwestern work ethic. After weathering the farm crisis of the 1980s, my husband and I graduated from high school and then from Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!). I began teaching (and later went on to be an Education Director for two Realtor® Associations), while my husband began his career as a police officer.
My VA work began a few years ago...I was tired of the commute, tired of the stress, tired of having no life! One of the biggest perks (and there a lot of them!) in this business is that I can work from anywhere (using my #1 VA tool GoToMyPC ). So, I can go back to Iowa and visit my family whenever I want to and STILL work. I pay to have access to GoToMyPC on my computer at my home office (tax write-off). And, all my clients pay to have it on theirs…it’s SUCH a great thing! Don’t miss the other invaluable tools and ideas in my VA Toolbox.
I’m not a super serious “build the biggest VA business EVER” type of person…however, I am a perfectionist. I got into this business simply to provide a needed source of income; to do great, conscientious and dependable work for my clients; – AND, MOST IMPORTANTLY – to focus on my #1 priority…my family! My business has been built by word-of-mouth – period.
In my free time, I love to spend time with my family, go running, read and organize!
